Local Student Amongst Top Ten in Country
Local student Emma-Jane Biggs was amongst the top ten in the country in GCE A-level Chemistry according to Edexcel, the UK’s largest awarding body.
Emma-Jane sat her exam earlier this summer at Collingham and the results, issued last month, show that out of 6,387 candidates, Emma-Jane achieved one of the highest overall marks in Chemistry.
Jerry Jarvis, Edexcel’s managing director, said: “This is a tremendous achievement and testament to the hard work students put into preparing for their examinations.
“We send our congratulations to Emma-Jane.”
