Collingham’s position in central London offers access
to valuable additional resources. Art and Art History groups regularly visit
galleries, keeping up to date with current exhibitions. Politics groups visit
the Houses of Parliament and Law groups the Law Courts. Media Studies students
are taken to television recording studios, English and Theatre Studies groups
visit the theatre. Modern Languages students benefit from the nearby French
Institute and Goethe Institute.
Outside London, our Geography and Biology students go on
field trips, for example to Epping Forest and the Isle of Wight. The Art
History and Modern Languages departments also regularly organise study trips
abroad, for example to Paris, Amsterdam and Florence.
