Collingham Football

The Collingham football team has started the season very well, here is what coach Will Jenkins had to say about the season so far;

"Having started the season with a new group of players, the team have gelled really well as last term progressed. There has been a good turnout consistently to the Friday football club, where the focus has been on two-touch-passing football. This has allowed for the team to develop a strong ethos in the way they want to play the game. The first match we played was an excellent reflection of the high ability levels within the team. The football played was exceptional, coming out as 6-3 winners against Ealing College. The newly formed centre back partnership of Afa and Charlie provided the solid foundation, and the freely frontline was inspired by debutant Cem. The team can be proud of their efforts so far, and now look to compete for places to be selected for the CIFE Football tournament in April. We wish the team good luck and look forward to hearing about their future successes.
