WOHAA speed mentoring event

A group of Collingham students attended this event at the Royal College of Surgeons in Lincoln’s Inn Fields organised by WHOAA. All mentors were young professionals from a wide range of business, industry and civil service backgrounds.

"The Wings of Hope speed mentoring event has been a great experience. There were a wide range of mentors available from completely different industries; Medicine,Dentistry, Engineering, Law, Journalism, Music, Marketing, Journalism and many more who I thought have been very useful in terms of giving me a better idea of choosing the right career path. It helped me discover the career which suited me best, which I could strongly see myself in. I'm glad I was given the chance to be able to attend the WOHAA speed mentoring event- definitely the beginning to a successful future ahead!"

"I had a really nice time at he speed mentoring event, it was really a privilege to meet a variety of hound people in different domains talking about their experiences in the real world. It was really nice for them to take the time out of their busy schedules to come and advise each and every one of us. I really received the information I needed and had a splendid time.  The WOHAA speed mentoring session is something I would really recommend to young people of all ages, it is really worth it!

Thank you!"

NENCY, STUDENT

All Collingham students that attended had a brilliant experience in meeting other students from all around the country and above all talking to those in the know about how best to plan and work for their future career goals, with all proceeds from ticket sales going to education charities in India. This was definitely a “WIN” “WIN” event.
